Key Responsibilities

Volunteer Role: Donor Relations Assistant
Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per week
Location: Remote / Hybrid
Reports to: CPI Leadership
Role Summary
The Donor Relations Assistant helps Care Package Inbound maintain strong, positive relationships with donors. This volunteer supports communication, tracks donor interactions, and ensures every supporter feels appreciated and connected to CPI’s mission.
Key Responsibilities

Assist with sending thank-you messages, updates, and impact reports to donors

Help maintain donor records and track contributions

Support donor follow-up after events, campaigns, or sponsorships

Prepare simple summaries or updates to share with recurring supporters

Represent CPI with professionalism, gratitude, and mission-aligned communication

Volunteer Role: Procurement Manager
Time Commitment: 2–4 hours per week
Location: Remote / Hybrid

Role Summary
The Procurement Manager helps ensure Care Package Inbound has the supplies needed to assemble emergency placement backpacks. This volunteer researches products, compares pricing, and coordinates purchasing to keep CPI’s inventory stocked and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities

Research and compare prices for clothing, hygiene items, and comfort items

Maintains contact with inventory manager to track inventory needs and identify when supplies are running low

Communicate with vendors, stores, and donors about available products
-
Recommend cost-effective purchasing options to CPI leadership
-
Ensure all items meet CPI’s quality standards and respect the dignity of children in care
